We are visitors here, walking the narrow space between the depth of our lives and the impermanence of each precious moment.
To live fully in this world we must inherit a deeper attention to what is.
In this work we will explore our particular orientation to the world. Using meaning and intention as handlebars along the path, we are guided to what really matters along the way.
As members of the human race, we are products of our past moving towards a future. Counselling is about pausing for a moment, inhaling, and uncovering where and who we really are. We will work to honor the life we have been given and move to level the ground in approach for the next chapter.
Holistic Counselling: Drawing from various traditions including Buddhist and existential psychology, issues and intentions are approached from a compassionate lens. Bringing attention and care to our history, we learn to live inside of our life while holding a bigger vision of who we might still become.
Somatic Approach: The immediacy of our bodies holds an inherent wisdom and is the seat of our connection to the external world. Somatic and movement exercises can be explored to increase our awareness of the wildness within.
Emotional Literacy: Learn to live with, rather than from our emotions. Our emotions offer us direction for our passion, integrity and agency. As we build intimacy with any one of our difficulties, we unlock potential for embodied living and presence. Learning how to live with and tolerate our more difficult emotions, we lengthen our ability to tolerate a sense of ease.

Contact Peter to book:
“God speaks to each of us as he makes us, then walks with us silently out of the night. These are the words we dimly hear:
You, sent out beyond your recall, go to the limits of your longing.
Embody me. Flare up like a flame and make big shadows I can move in.
Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going.
No feeling is final. Don’t let yourself lose me.
Nearby is the country they call life.
You will know it by its seriousness.
Give me your hand.”
